Welcome to CampusPhysique, a format to discuss health and fitness matters many, if not most, female college students face on a daily basis.  It’s hard to juggle school, work, fun and a healthy lifestyle.  Let’s discuss ways to make it easier —  whether it be a healthy meal to cook on a budget, what to order at your favorite “not so healthy” hot spot or how to fit a work out into your busy schedule.

Hi!  My name is Rachel Polchek and I’m a senior public relations student at Kent State University who is dedicated to the gym and trying to lead a healthy life.  My friends sometimes refer to it as an obsession.  I wouldn’t take it that far, but I do work hard to exercise regularly and eat relatively healthy all while enjoying my college experience to the fullest.  

This semester I’m interning in the corporate communications department with Diebold, Incorporated (as I did all summer), working as the sales manager for the Daily Kent Stater and also serving as the secretary for Kent State’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).  I’m busy just like everyone else, but I wouldn’t have it any other way because I love what I’m doing.
